• Can you tell us a bit about you and your role at Canary Wharf Group?

I am Engineering Supervisor for 1-5 Bank Street, my responsibilities are to manage my team, collaborate with subcontractors and assist our tenants when required.

My main objective regarding Demand Logic is to reduce energy costs and consumption and maximise operation efficiency.

Demand Logic is a good platform to verify plant running times, to synchronise equipment of a complete system and to validate efficiency of the system.

• Given your experience in engineering management, what trends or innovations in building operations and energy management are you most interested in, and why?

Green energy, sustainable approach to innovation using smart buildings systems to monitor and manage energy consumption, to optimise HVAC systems, and to integrate renewable energy sources.

• What advice would you share with other Engineering Supervisors who are starting in a new role and looking to implement advanced technologies like Demand Logic?

Demand logic is a good platform to optimise energy usage, run equipment to design specifications and monitor performance of building efficiency.
