Anthony Nolan joins Demand Logic as new Building Performance Analyst

Demand Logic has welcomed Anthony Nolan as their new Building Performance Analyst. In his role, Anthony will be using the market award-winning ESG platform to help reduce energy use (and subsequent emissions), improve occupant comfort and identify opportunities for potential building maintenance. With his diverse background and knowledge, Anthony is poised to make a meaningful impact on Demand Logic’s partners.

Previously, he worked in technical design roles within education and architecture with a strong focus on digital manufacturing, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and laser cutting. Anthony gained valuable insights into the waste generated by, and the sustainability of, different materials and processes. Motivated by this awareness, he pursued a part-time MSc in Environment and Sustainability to deepen his understanding of the environmental impact of the built environment.

Throughout his studies, Anthony discovered the significant contributions the sector makes towards global greenhouse gas emissions. It was during this time that he developed a keen interest in exploring the immense potential of both technological advancements and nature-based solutions to effectively reduce emissions within the sector and he became aware of Demand Logic through the UK Green Building Council.

Speaking about his appointment, Anthony said:

In the future, Anthony hopes to see a much bigger push for renewable energy solutions, including a circular economy approach to their manufacturing, alongside a rapid and just transition from fossil fuels.
