  • Demand Logic is supporting the real estate and asset management specialist to reach their sustainability goals and requirement for more ESG data.
  • To date, Demand Logic has identified annual savings of just under 250,000 kWh or 32kWh/m2/pa.

Resolution Property has appointed Demand Logic to provide innovative building performance analytics at Smithson Plaza in London. Smithson Plaza is an iconic mixed use property in London, hailed for its New Brutalism design by revered architects Alison and Peter Smithson.

Following service commencement in January 2023, Demand Logic has initially identified 16 key Property Performance Actions which contribute to Energy Efficiency, Occupier Comfort and Mechanical Effectiveness as well as producing an automated performance score. The potential kWh savings work out as a reduction of energy intensity of just over 32kWhe/m2(NLA)/pa

The insight provided is vital for ensuring that new smart strategies, designed to improve demand-led automation, are working properly and delivering tangible results to improve ESG performance.

Regarding the recent instruction, Dom Higgitt, Asset Manager at Smithson Plaza said:

“We are pleased to see such quick results from Demand Logic at Smithson Plaza. Reducing our energy intensity of the asset will play an integral role in our journey to Net Zero as we continue to drive our ESG Strategy”.

Mike Darby, CEO and Co-Founder of Demand Logic added:

“It’s great to be working with Resolution Property at Smithson Plaza. Historically, collaboration between asset managers and Demand Logic has resulted in huge energy savings and an increase in occupier comfort. To see these results already beginning to materialise at Smithson Plaza is great to see and a testament to the property teams involved”.
