Demand Logic welcomes Building Performance Analyst Luke Christodoulou

It’s with excitement that Demand Logic can announce that Luke Christodoulou has joined the team as our new Building Performance Analyst. As part of this role, Luke will work with high-profile real estate clients to ensure their properties are running as efficiently as possible, which in turn, will help their buildings become more sustainable by minimising their carbon footprint. Luke will visit sites, deploy our equipment, analyse the data gathered by buildings and help building managers understand the findings so their building operations become smoother and cleaner.

Before joining Demand Logic, Luke studied Architecture and then moved into studying Civil and Environmental Engineering; after which, he worked in construction management. Having grown up in a family that worked in the construction and real estate industries, Luke’s life-long exposure to the importance of buildings and how they influence society on both cultural and technical levels makes him a perfect fit for Demand Logic. Deemed by him as the start of a new industrial revolution, he believes that by showcasing the sustainable change in buildings, other areas of society could follow to help the UK achieve its net zero targets.

Commenting on his new role Luke said:

“I’m excited about this role because of the immediate impact it can deliver in the built environment, saving considerable amounts of CO2 and energy which would have otherwise been wasted. Demand Logic is first-hand fighting to make the world more sustainable. I’m looking forward to growing alongside the company and learning from its forward-thinking, passionate people who want to see a big change in the industry.”

Demand Logic CEO Mike Darby said:

“This move comes at a real time of growth for Demand Logic, following our significant investment from earlier this year. Luke’s appointment will allow some of our highest profile clients to gain a better understanding of how their buildings are operating, and how Demand Logic can help them further reduce their energy costs and usage.”
