Hines and Avison Young have selected Demand Logic as their preferred building data management partner, delivering their multi-award-winning services across three buildings at Brindleyplace. Demand Logic’s Building Analytics platform provides real-time analysis of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, meters and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, with access to profitable insight to improve operational performance. The three buildings total over 240,000 sq ft and form part of the business and recreational hub in the heart of Birmingham.
Demand Logic and Avison Young have been working closely to identify opportunities for energy and carbon reduction, improving maintenance efficiencies and internal comfort for occupiers. The Building Analytics was initially rolled out across two buildings in October 2020 resulting in the rapid identification of several energy and cost-saving actions. The speed of this insight led to the expansion of service to a third building at Brindleyplace in November.
Mike Darby, CEO of Demand Logic, commented:
“For the property and facilities management sector, 2020 opened up many opportunities. The work that we are doing with Avison Young at Brindleyplace demonstrates how important it is to understand how your buildings behave no matter what the occupancy. The teams have been able to use our data and recommended actions to implement changes that have delivered improved performance. It’s great to see Brindleyplace continuing their progression towards impressive sustainability goals and we are clearly delighted to be part of their solution.”
Nigel Foster, Director, Avison Young said:
