This Month, Sam David, one of our Technical Account Managers answers our series of questions put to him.
1. Do you prefer roast potatoes or fried?
Pub chips that have sat in the fryer all day (with a jug of gravy if possible).
2. What is your favourite holiday destination and why?
Perranporth Beach and more specifically, an outside table at the ‘UK's only Bar on the Beach’, The Watering Hole.
3. Who or what is your source of inspiration?
The idea that small conscious acts can make a positive impact on the lives of those we both know and don't. I also try to take the time to appreciate the weird, quirky and strange whenever they interrupt the everyday.
4. As a Demand Logic Technical Account Manager, what gets you up in the morning?
It’s great to be helping our clients tackle the key issue of inefficient buildings. At times, the slow-to-adapt parts of the industry can prove increasingly frustrating however, working with the team to overcome these challenges makes the job incredibly rewarding.
5. And finally, where do you think the world will be in 2030?
Hopefully, digital technology will continue to disrupt and transform industries for the better although I do worry about the new array of challenges this may present (automation leading to fewer jobs etc). Perhaps my idea to give everyone a Universal Basic Income to live off and a Guinness World Record to break to pass the time might finally be taken more seriously.
