Demand Logic celebrates a hat trick of awards with its cutting edge ‘Fitbit for buildings
- Demand Logic win a hat trick of awards from the Estates Gazette, businessGreen and BUILD Magazine
- The most recent accolade is BUILD Magazine’s 2017 Global Excellence Awards for best in green buildings for the UK
- The awards affirm Demand Logic’s commercial building optimization software as leading in its sector
Demand Logic has taken home a flurry of awards over the last six weeks in recognition of its ground-breaking software platform which optimises commercial building performance levels.
The first award was a win of the inaugural Estate Gazette’s Techtalk Academy award for its ‘proven traction’ with customers and partners. This was followed by a win at the third annual businessGreen Technology Awards in the Building Technology of the Year category for its innovative ‘digital retrofit’ software. And finally, last Friday Demand Logic’s platform has won BUILD’s 2017 Global Excellence Awards for best in green buildings for the UK.
Mike Darby, CEO and co-founder, commented:
“We are thrilled that our innovative technology is now being recognised among a variety of prestigious publications and organisations, as an effective solution to energy wastage in large buildings that can revolutionise building management and performance as well as occupants comfort. Our proven automated software delivers energy and cost savings each time, improving the asset value of commercial properties as well as simplifying operations.”
Demand Logic’s technology is a simple to install Data Acquisition Device (DAD) which provides a detailed visual interface of an entire building’s operations and individual terminal unit functionality in real time, to immediately identify problems and co-ordinate solutions. This enables a reduction in energy wastage, engineer’s time to locate a problem, and subsequent costs.
Currently, Demand Logic’s software tool is installed in over 100 flagship commercial buildings throughout the UK including commercial property giant Landsec, delivering 10-15% energy savings a year.
Sonny Masero, Chairman at Demand Logic explained:
“The best way to explain Demand Logic is like a FitBit for buildings but rather than just monitoring the health of a building, we go deeper. Not only can we tell you whether there is a health problem and that it is functioning the way that it should, but we also have an online doctor or fitness trainer that can help you find the source of that problem – the specific piece of equipment or sensor that is causing the problem – and help you find a remedy.”
